Products... again...eeks!
On Friday, I had one of those "me" afternoons. I was able to get off work early because it was my 2 year anniversary there. Since the husby was at work, I was able to run around and score products. WEEE! I tried to look for clothes, but nothing fancied me, BUMMER! Oh well! Anyways, I went to Sephora, ULTA, and MAC. At Sephora, I returned that whackass Clinique Take a Day Off Cleansing Milk and exchanged it for Fresh Soy Face Cleanser. Might I add, I LOOOVVEE this cleanser. It's simply amazing! I highly recommend it for dry-sensitive skin, you can try the smaller size for $15, if you'd like. I also got Clinique's brush cleaner since I ran out.
At MAC, I only planned on getting the 226 brush, but the MAC artist convinced me to grab one more thing. GAH! So he sold me on a Shadestick in Shimmersand. He was like, "Oh Honey! Do you know about our HK event?"... I told him I was attending the other MAC counter's event because my friend is the manager. Then I told him I wasn't that excited for the HK collection. I think the Blonde, Brunette, and Redhead collection is better because they have new brushes, new MSFs and stuff. The HK collection looks alright, but it doesn't get me all amped. By the way, I loooovvee the 226 brush! Oh man, it's perfect for my eyes. I don't consider myself having "asian eyes" because they're pretty round and big, but I just don't have a deep crease, so this brush is perfect for my eyes. I want another one! It's limited edition =(, I have to get another before they are long gone.
At ULTA, I wanted to use my 20% off everything coupon. So I got some NADS wax. Haha, I have no shame. I love these wax strips, they are soo gentle on my skin. My sis-in-law doesn't like it, so I'm not sure if I'd recommend it. I mean, it does the job and the more you wax, the slower the hair grows. So it's totally up to you if you want to try it. Lastly, I scored MAX Factor's 2000 Calorie Mascara (they used this a lot in the BLUSH episodes). I like it! I actually think it's better than some high end mascaras I've tried. My MUFE Smoky Lash is clumping on me =(, so I'm reaching for my MAX factor mascara more. Plus, it's not clumpy and you don't even need a brush to comb out the lashes.
I know I said my next post would be the wavy hair. But I'm too lazy to post that. I'll do it soon, promise! Well, uh, maybe... =)
Snowboarding this weekend!! WOOO! Can't wait! OoOH and it's SuperBowl weekend too, eeks, let's up I don't get fat by eating tons of fried food and chips. CRAP!

I LOVE the 226 too! It's perfect for me! I thought I was the only crazy one who'd even think about getting two..but yay! You agree! And I'm a fan of shadesticks too. Sharkskin is perfect for smoky eyes.
I agree, the 2000 calorie mascara definitely deserves all the hype. That and CG's Lash Blast are my fave. I'm also going to take advantage of the 20% Ulta sale and get the Kinerase eye cream. It better be worth all the money I'm paying for it! Have fun this weekend! I'll be too busy trying to survive my MCAT! :(
i am loving the nads for my underarm! haha nice haul
haha i remember nads wax. thats the one where they had the infomercial right? :] OoOh!
Hey Cutie ;)
lol, it looks like several ladies saw my comment on M's blog.
Yeah, it's all yours if you want, since you asked first! I used it once, and I like it, but at the end of the day it left my hair feeling kind of heavy. But it does do wonders like Miss Pink discussed. I could like mold my hair throughout the day to get that "sexy" / edgy hair look. I'm just not a fan of the feeling of it.
I picked it up at a Japanese store while I was in Seattle in case you wanted to know it's place of origin. lol.
e-mail me: nguyenst@msu.edu if you want me to send it out to you. <3
Steph
Nads!! I want to try those wax strips now. Those MAC shadesticks last a life time so great buy on that. Brush #226 fancy fancy! I wish MAC would loan out brushes so we can try them before we buy them you know? lol
Haha it's ok to indulge a little bit. You can have at least one of my cupcakes!! I want to make the lemon ones again soon because my mom really liked them. :D
I need to get my hands on that 226 brush!
Nice haul, Jen! Bad girl! :P
this is just random...i didnt read too......Liquid eye liner is better than pencil eyeliner jank...
you're so lucky to get the #226. i might get one tomorrow just cuz it's LE.
I agree about the HK collection. It's nothing to be too excited about because their stuff just doesn't draw my attention but I know once it comes out I'm gonna give in & buy something from there. Haha.
You lucky girl! You scored a 226! I totally missed that one procrastinating boo. :( Love you haulage mama!
